Incredible! This place is hands down the highlight of our weeklong trip in the south across TN, AL, and LA. Pretty unassuming on the outside but the food is scrumptious and enough to prove that southern cuisine goes so much beyond BBQ ribs and fried chicken. Any out of towners passing through should give this place a try - you will not be disappointed!!

The food was wonderful! I had macaroni and cheese, yams, cabbage & cornbread. I had a porkchop but got too full on the sides! It was all delicious. You won't be disappointed!

Stopped in for breakfast. Good Lord that was a good breakfast sandwich. Don't let the looks fool you, coffee is legit, the food is crazy good and they have a 97 on the health inspection. Will be back.

This is actually the best restaurant in Montgomery, if you're looking for soul food and I'm not just saying this because the owner is my aunt it is absolutely delicious! Don't just take my word for it stop by and try it!

Don't be turned away by this locations' appearance, inside is deliciously perfect soul food. Affordable, authentic a meat and 3. Moist semi sweet Cornbread and savory buttery Collard Greens are a sampling of the wonders that await you here.

Delicious food. It was my first time so I didn't even have to decide what I wanted. They just picked out my lunch for me and it was a good choice :)

Excellent southern style food. Fried catfish and chicken were outstanding. Seating can be a hassle during peak hours. Parking lot available at the vacant property at the beginning of the street.

Loved the breakfast .I had salmon & rice ..my friend ate wings n rice .. both were good & the kool - aid wS swanging

Food was pretty good! I had the Oxtail and hubs had the Catfish. A few things on their menu board are actually not served everyday, so you might have to dbl check. The meal came w a drink, tea or fruit punch. The ladies that worked there were really nice. The area and ambience definitely could use a lot of work but the nostalgic pictures, food and good service makes up for it!

My first visit to this scrumptious soul food restaurant, the oxtails were so tender and worth the money, added collards, limas and yams....it was a little warm so i suggest you get it to go...definitely will get more of my money

Mama B's was fantastic. Home cooking at it's best. Not a fancy place.. just awesome food. About$10 a plate

Looks like a dump, food is excellent. Went several miles out of our way to get there, it was well worth it. About two blocks from Maxwell air base

This was my first visit at the new location and the food was not good. My baked chicken was clearly old and very salty. I didn't try the side because I trashed the entire plate after tasting the chicken. A waste of $11 and I will just drive out of my way to Simple Southern for now on. The customer service is lacking also, no smiles or greetings and they seemed to mad at each other up front and it shows. The building could also up some work inside and out. It's dark and appears dirty.

Came to town for the parade today and was looking for a bite to eat afterwards and God himself opened the gateways to Mrs B's. Lol I've been living in ATL for two years now and haven't had any soulfood as good as this. I originally order fried chicken, mac-n-cheese, and candid yams (delicious), and then I tasted my sisters ribs and had to order another plate with ribs this time to take home. Ribs were flavorful and tender. My sister ordered smothered pork chops and our friend had beef riblets. To top it off they had Kool-Aid and of course sweet tea. Make sure you grab a slice of their homemade lemon cake. Overall great food and great service, Berta was such an excellent waitress. Since my sister opened a tax office (Maximum Tax Resources) I defintely be back in town and I'll defintely be eating back at Mrs. B's. As you can see we were eating, unfortunately I took a picture after we ate half of it.

Yes yes and yes! This place is amazing. Food drinks it is so good. They have different items everyday, so you will taste something different. Don't go if you have to go back to work tho. You are going to be sleepy! Great southern soul food.

I LOVE the fact the have a Drive-through😍 I REALLY came in handy today, because I was in a rush. The service was quick & friendly. The food was hot& delicious; I had: baked chicken (dark meat, they were out of white at the time), dressing (tasted like stuffing but still was good), Mac & cheese, & yams. I will definitely be going back.

Food was delicious. Nothing better than homecookin' without the clean up. Minimal wait and all the food was hot and tasty. Definitely would reccommend to any visitors to the area or residents that have yet to venture this gem. That being said, be cautious entering the parking area from the main road, the asphalt definitely needs some tlc.

Absolutely phenomenal food. I got the fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, and collards. Everything was perfection. My group also got the meat loaf and four veggies. Everyone loved everything and the staff was very friendly. Do note that this is a new location. The house that you see the the many pictures unfortunately burned down.

This was an amazing breakfast at an incredible pric . The staff was so loving and kind the service was second to non. Food was well cooked and prepared perfect. I fee my whole office breakfast at half the cost I would have spent at McDonald's.......you have to try the food it is amazing.

I have fell in love with this place ... The women are so friendly ... This place has a feel of Sundays a grandmas house .. the food Just melts in your mouth... Best southern food ever

Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. They employees were quick to greet us as we walked in. The food varies by day and we wanted to try everything. We decided on fried chicken with corn and mac n cheese, smothered chops over rice with collards and mac n cheese, and ox tail over rice with cabbage and broccoli casserole. Everything was so good!! Only downside was that it was a bit warm for us inside as we ate but that's purely a personal preference.

Good ol home style cooking. Something like your mom or grandmother would cook. Very busy during lunch so make sure you save a little time for the wait. But worth it. When you walk in you grab a tray and you go through the line get your food get a drink at the cash register and pay. There's tables throughout and someone comes around and refills your drinks as needed. Their condition is nothing to brag on, stays a little warm inside but the food is delicious. Be sure to try their oxtail.

Nice people & great food! I was passing through Maxwell AFB and this place came highly recommended. The atmosphere brings back memories of having a Sunday dinner at grandma's house. Even though it was busy during lunch, the staff was welcoming and made our table feel comfortable while enjoying the delicious food.I plan on going back to try something different than I had last time!

Pretty good food. The speaker on the drive thru section doesn't work, and as a person that's never been there before i had no idea. A sign outside would be nice. The staff was really nice. This place was recommended by a friend as being a pretty good local spot with good southern food, and it didn't disappoint. I'll be going back for different specials that they have daily.

Great Southern Home Cooking. Everything is always seasoned perfectly. They have some of my favorites that I grew up on like BBQ Pigfeet and Pigtails, Smothered Liver, and Fried Pork Chops. They even have fish and pork chops for breakfast. If ever in the area, or even if not, it's worth a trip to stop by.

Went there for a quick lunch and I was amazed at how delicious the food was!!! I would go back there for lunch everyday if my waistline could handle it! The service was outstanding and made me feel at home!!! I had fried chicken, sweet potatoes and mac and cheese. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it!!!!

Amazing ox tails and the fried chicken has the perfect flavor and crisp skin. Absolutely love.... and the staff are nice as well. Perfect to me

This restaurant is a little house tucked away on a side street just off the road to Maxwell Air Force Base. If you are looking for Southern Cuisine, you will find it here! It is a meet and three style lunch with a small offering of desserts...small because if you eat the large portions of your main meal, you can't devour a dessert. Worth the trip for some southern down home cooking.

I literally drove 2 1/2 hours for a vegetable plate....why..... because it's just that good, especially their cornbread dressing.

Service was good, food very tasty and when you leave you are full, price is good and you are given a lot of food for your money, my office went all were very pleased will be going again.
